Waste Picker Community Facilitators
The Community Sanitation and Recycling Organization (CSARO) is a local non-profit NGO, working with urban poor communities and waste pickers to improve their standard of living and quality of life. CSARO is seeking a suitably qualified Cambodian national (male or female) for the above positions. The official would be based in CSARO’s Center Phnom Penh and Kampot and some time required travelling in the project cities of provincials.
¨ Prepare and submitting quarterly accomplishment reports;
¨ Develop and preparing training and conducting campaign on waste picker rights and environment;
¨ Work closely with Waste Picker and CDC environment committees to provide Technical Support
¨ Identify the marketing strategy for effective in promoting compost and recycling products
¨ Organize and providing training to Waste Pickers SHGs, CDCs and communities.
¨ Organize campaign on waste picker environment to building programme.
¨ Work with waste picker SHGs to keep track on waste collection and organic waste composting.
¨ Degree in Agronomy, waste management, Community Development or a related area is essential
¨ Minimum of 2 years with NGOs involving in street waste pickers, community development work.
